- Qualification: B.Sc. with Computer Science (Or) 3 years Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
- Essential Qualification: M.Sc. / M.Sc.(Tech) / M.Tech / M.S. / Integrated M.Tech in Geophysics / Applied Geophysics / Marine Geophysics / Exploration Geophysics / Earth Sciences / Geophysical Technology / Equivalent
- Desirable (if any): Experience in computer programming using Matlab, Python/C++ etc.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in seismological data acquisition, field work and data analysis
Salary/ Stipend
- Project Assistant-II (PA-II): 20000/- + HRA
- Project Associate-I (PAT-I): 25000/- / *31000/- + HRA
- Project Associate-II (PAT-II): 28000/- / #35000/- + HRA
- Senior Project Associate (Senior-PAT): 42,000/- + HRA

General Information / Instructions
1. Reporting Time: 08:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the venue. No candidate will be allowed to enter into the venue after 10:00 AM
2. Venue of Interview: CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute, Near NGRI Metro Station, Uppal Road, Hyderabad, Telangana–500007.
3. The candidates who fulfils the criteria as on date of interview towards age, education qualifications etc. as mentioned against the postcodes may appear before the interview board along with filled in Application Form (Click here), Original Certificates and one set of Self-attested photocopies of certificates of Educational Qualifications, Curriculum Vitae, Age, Caste (in case of SC/ST/OBC/EWS candidates), Experience (if any), one recent passport size photo etc.
4. The candidates who are not able to attend the Walk-in-Interview on the above mentioned dates, they are required to fill the Google Form (Click here) to appear for online interview and upload filled in application form (Click here) along with all the certificates of educational qualifications, age, caste (in case of SC/ST/OBC/ EWS candidates), Curriculum Vitae (CV), experience (if any), Aadhar etc. in the order wise in single pdf on or before 18.01.2026.
5. Final Semester / Year students who are awaiting results are not eligible to attend the interview.
6. Any false information may lead to ban in appearing any future recruitment / engagement process in CSIR - NGRI and the same may be informed to other CSIR labs/Institutes, other Government Organizations / agencies also.
7. The number and levels of positions may increase or decrease at the time of actual selection or may be cancelled also. The engagement is for various time-bound projects viz., Grant-in-Aid / Sponsored Projects / In-house projects etc. which is co-terminus with the projects and may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the Project, satisfactory performance/conduct of the appointee. It is not a regular appointment, temporary or otherwise and therefore it does not entitle the incumbent(s) any claim, implicit or explicit on any CSIR/NGRI post. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-interview.
