  • PFRDA Introduces 'StAR NPS Platform' for Digital Onboarding of Subscribers - The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) launched the 'StAR NPS' platform, developed by BSE Technologies Private Limited (BTPL), to streamline subscriber registration for the National Pension System (NPS).   • RBI MPC Keeps Repo Rate Unchanged at 5.25% - The Reserve Bank of India's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC), in its meeting on 5 June 2026, unanimously decided to keep the repo rate unchanged at 5.25%, maintaining its neutral policy stance amid global economic uncertainty, geopolitical tensions in West Asia, and inflation concerns. RBI Governor Sanjay Malhotra announced the decision. He joined the Parliament Secretariat in 1953, served on the NCRWC (2000-2002) as Drafting Committee Chairman, and authored over 100 books on India's Constitution and parliamentary procedures.
