- Technician (Diesel):
- Passed matriculation or its equivalent.
- Should have served as an apprentice for at least 04 years in a reputable firm or in a Central or State Govt. Establishments.
- In addition, 02 years practical experience in the installation, maintenance and overhauling of Diesel Generator Sets, Air Compressor, Battery Chargers etc.
- Navigational Assistant Grade-III:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution with two years experience in the installation, maintenance and overhauling of Diesel Generator Sets, Air Compressor, Battery Chargers etc.
- OR
- Diploma in Electronics or Telecommunication or Electronics and Communication or Electrical and Electronics from a institution recognized by Central Government or State Government.

- After scrutiny of applications, the eligible candidates shall be called for written examination on date as decided by Director, Directorate of Lighthouses and Lightships, Goa.
- The call letter for all stages such as written test, trade test, document verification etc. shall be sent by email/post on the address mentioned in the candidate app lication form.
- This Directorate shall not be responsible for delay in receipt or non receipt of call letter or wrong address or candidate's address changed etc.
- Based on the performance of candidates in written examination, trade test and document verification, the selected candidate will be given provisional appointment as per vacancy subject to his/ her passing requisite medical fitness test, final verification of education certificate and verification of antecedent/ character of the candidate.
