Eligibility Criteria
Common Requirements: Proficiency in Bengali/local language & dialect. Desirable: Competency in MS Office & Internet.
Stream-1: B.Sc. Nursing with Integrated BPCCHN (passed 2021 or later)
- Passed Integrated course of BPCCHN included in B.Sc. Nursing in 2021 or thereafter from institute recognised by West Bengal Nursing Council.
- Registration / Provisional certificate from West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC).
- Direct posting as CHO after selection.
Stream-2: GNM / Post Basic B.Sc. / B.Sc. Nursing (passed before 2021)
- Passed GNM / Post Basic B.Sc. / B.Sc. Nursing before 2021 from institute recognised by WBNC.
- Registration from West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC).
- Must undergo CPHC training.
- Stipend during training: Rs. 10,000/- pm.
- Must sign bond to serve after training (penalty Rs. 2 Lakh if bond broken).
Stream-3: BAMS
- Passed BAMS from recognised University/Institute.
- Registration / Provisional certificate from Paschim Banga Ayurved Parisad.
- Must undergo CPHC training (same conditions as Stream-2).
Salary/Stipend
- Consolidated Pay: Rs. 20,000/- per month
- Performance Linked Incentive: Maximum Rs. 5,000/- per month (based on approved parameters)
- During CPHC Training (for Stream-2 & Stream-3): Rs. 10,000/- per month stipend

- Age relaxation applicable as per West Bengal Government norms for reserved categories.
