• Dental Surgeon (NOHP) – 01 post, SC category, place of posting: Rampurhat Health District.
• Dental Technician (NOHP) – 01 post, UR category, place of posting as per district allocation under NOHP.

These posts are under National Oral Health Mission (NOHP) / National Health Mission on contractual basis as per sanctioned vacancies and approved guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria

Dental Surgeon

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery from an institution recognized by the Dental Council of India.
• Valid registration with the West Bengal Dental Council.
• Minimum age 22 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2025.
• Preferred: At least 2 years working experience in Government/Private Hospital or institutional set-up including recognised nursing home, multispeciality private clinic or corporate polyclinic (house staffship period can be included).
• Permanent resident of West Bengal with knowledge of local language.

Dental Technician

• Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology from WBCHSE or equivalent.
• Two years Diploma in Dental Technology from a recognised institution.
• Valid registration with West Bengal Dental Council.
• One year experience after Diploma in any West Bengal Government Hospital or licensed clinical establishment.
• Age not less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 01/01/2025.
• Permanent resident of West Bengal with knowledge of local language.

Age Limit

• Dental Surgeon: Minimum 22 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2025.
• Dental Technician: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 01/01/2025.
• Age relaxation for reserved categories as per Government of West Bengal norms.

Application Fee

• General category: Rs. 100/- (non-refundable).
• Reserved category candidates: Rs. 50/- (non-refundable).
• Payment mode: Online only via net banking, UPI, credit card or debit card through the recruitment portal.
• Candidates must use application ID and date of birth for fee payment and re-login for final submission after successful payment (fee should not be deposited more than once).

Salary/Stipend

• Dental Surgeon: Monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs. 42,000/- as per NHM guideline memo no. HFW/NHM-580/2022/1374(2) dated 04/07/2024.
• Dental Technician: Monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs. 22,000/- as per NOHP ToR, memo no. HFW-26099/122/2023/1120(2) dated 06/10/2023.

Selection Process

For Dental Surgeon, selection is based on academic marks (Class X, XII, BDS), experience and interview as per approved scoring table under NHM guidelines.

For Dental Technician, selection is based on academic marks (Class XII, Diploma, higher qualification), experience, written test and interview as per the prescribed scale of scoring under NOHP ToR.
