Eligibility Criteria
ICTC Laboratory Technician:
Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from a state Government-approved institution.
However, existing LTs without DMLT may continue if they have a certificate course in Medical Laboratory Technology and over 5 years experience in ICTCs.
Must undergo 5-days induction and 3-days refresher training as per NACO Guidelines.
NTEP Laboratory Technician:
Essential: Intermediate (10+2) and Diploma or certified course in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.
Preferential: One year experience in NTEP or Sputum smear microscopy. Candidates with higher qualifications (e.g., Graduates) shall be preferred.
TB Health Visitor (TB HV):
Graduate in Science OR Twelfth (10+2) in Science and experience of working as MPHW/LHV/ANM/Health worker/Certificate or higher course in health education/counselling.
Certificate course in Computer Operations (minimum two months).
Salary/ Stipend
ICTC Laboratory Technician: Rs. 13,000 per month
NTEP Laboratory Technician: Rs. 13,000 per month
TB Health Visitor: Rs. 13,300 per month

General Information / Instructions
These posts are purely temporary (11 months contract basis).
The job will not be made permanent at any point.
Candidates must submit an undertaking accepting these conditions.
For district-level posts: Candidates should be working in Kanchipuram district and report to Headquarters (District TB Centre, Kanchipuram).
Posting: Candidates may be placed in any Primary Health Center, Government Hospital, or Medical College Hospital (Public/Private) within Kanchipuram District.
Duties, responsibilities, and working hours as per Central TB Division guidelines.
Contract renewable every 11 months based on performance appraisal.
Appointment can be terminated with one month's notice by either party.
Field duties included as directed by District TB Officer.
No part-time/full-time employment or business allowed during contract without permission.
Absent for 7 or more continuous working days without permission leads to automatic termination.
Contract may be terminated early if performance is unsatisfactory.
