Educational Qualification: Minimum educational qualification is Higher Secondary (10+2) passed. The candidate must be a resident of the area of the respective Primary Forest Produce Cooperative Society. The candidate must belong to a tendu patta collector family that has collected a minimum of 500 standard bags of tendu leaves in each year for at least three years out of the preceding five years, supported by a self-attested copy of the tendu patta collection card. Knowledge of computers is also mandatory.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 35 years of age as of 1 January 2027. Age relaxation is applicable up to 5 years for SC, ST, and OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates of Chhattisgarh. Female candidates receive an upper age relaxation of up to 10 years as per Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Special Provisions for Appointment of Women) Rules 1997. Additional age relaxations apply to ex-servicemen and inter-caste marriage promotion scheme beneficiaries as per government rules. The maximum age with all relaxations shall not exceed 45 years in any case.

- Self-attested copies of mark sheets and certificates for High School (10th), Higher Secondary (10+2), graduation, and computer degree/diploma/certificate from a recognised institution.

Selection Process
Selection is based on a merit list prepared out of a total of 125 marks based on candidate qualifications:
- 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination: Percentage of total obtained marks converted to maximum 100 marks (e.g., 75.5% equals 75.5 marks).
- Graduation Examination: 1/5th of the percentage of marks obtained in graduation (maximum 20 marks; e.g., 70% equals 14 marks).
- Computer Application Certificate: Maximum 5 marks for certificates/diplomas/degrees from recognised institutions (1-year DCA/PGDCA/BCA/Computer Science/IT/Modern Office Management diploma or equivalent gets 3 marks; higher degrees such as a degree in computer subjects get 5 marks).
If two or more candidates secure equal marks, seniority in age will be the basis for priority. Selected candidates must undergo police verification, a medical fitness check-up by a district medical board, and furnish a security deposit of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand Rupees only) in cash or National Savings Certificate/Salvense before appointment. Selected candidates will remain on probation for a period of one year.
