DLSA West Karbi Anglong Para Legal Volunteer Recruitment 2026 – Apply Offline for 20 Posts

District Legal Services Authority, West Karbi Anglong (DLSA West Karbi Anglong) has notified 20 temporary vacancies for the Para Legal Volunteer (PLV) post. Candidates can apply offline by post or in person to the Office of the District Legal Services Authority, West Karbi Anglong, Judicial Courts & Offices compound, Sai - Ali on or before 30 November 2026, starting from 12 October 2026. Applicants must hold a Matriculation (10th) qualification. The work does not carry any salary, remuneration or wage except honorarium fixed by the District Legal Services Authority from time to time. The selection process consists of scrutiny of applications followed by an interview of shortlisted candidates.

Filled-up applications along with self-attested copies of relevant testimonials of educational qualification, age proof, and caste, plus two recent passport-size photographs (one pasted on the application form and another stapled on top) should be submitted to the following postal address:

Posts, Eligibility and Pay

Educational Qualification: The applicant should have passed Matriculation with a capacity for overall comprehension as well as a mindset to assist the needy in society with compassion, empathy, and concern for the upliftment of marginalized and weaker sections.

Citizenship: The applicant must be a citizen of India and a resident of the West Karbi Anglong district.

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years as on 12.10.2026.

Eligible Groups: Eligible applicants may belong to teachers (including retired teachers), retired government servants and senior citizens, M.S.W. students and teachers, Anganwadi workers, doctors/physicians, students and law students (till they enrol as lawyers), members of non-political service-oriented NGOs and clubs, members of women neighbourhood groups, Maithri Singhams and other self-help groups including marginalized/vulnerable groups, educated prisoners with good behaviour serving long-term sentences in prisons, or any other person whom DLSA deems fit.

Selection Process

Selection will be made on the basis of an interview of shortlisted candidates after scrutiny of applications. The list of shortlisted candidates for the interview, the date of interview, and other information regarding the selection process will be notified on the official website of the West Karbi Anglong District Judiciary (https://westkarbianglong.dcourts.gov.in). No individual call letters will be issued.
