The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has officially released the DRDO Various Posts Recruitment 2026 Notification (Deputation/Absorption Basis) on 12 February 2026 at its official website https://www.drdo.gov.in.
As per the official circular (Advt No. DOP/AA1/68080/Depu/Cir), a total of 188 vacancies have been notified for posts such as Joint Director (Administration/Accounts), Addl CCE, Sr. Accounts Officer Grade-II, Administrative Officer, Stores Officer, Accounts Officer, and Private Secretary under the Ministry of Defence.

- Joint Director (Administration) Level-13: Officers of Central/State/UT Govt holding analogous post or 5 years in Level-12 + Degree + 12 years experience in administration/establishment/accounts.
- Joint Director (Accounts) Level-13: Officers holding analogous post or 5 years in Level-12 + Bachelor Degree + 10 years experience in Accounts/Finance/Budgeting.
- Addl CCE Level-13: Civilian Officers of organised Engineering Services or equivalent holding analogous post or 5 years in Level-12 + Bachelor Degree in Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Architecture + 10 years experience in civil works/project execution/estate management.
- Sr. Accounts Officer Grade-II Level-10: Officers holding analogous post or 2 years in Level-9 or 4 years in Level-8 + Bachelor Degree + 3 years experience in Accounts/Finance/Budgeting.
- Administrative Officer Level-07: Officers holding analogous post or 5 years in Level-6 + Bachelor Degree + 2 years experience in Accounts/Administration/Establishment.
- Stores Officer Level-07: Officers holding analogous post or 5 years in Level-6 + Bachelor Degree + 3 years experience in store keeping/stores accounts.

General Information/Instructions
- Number of vacancies may increase or decrease due to administrative reasons.
- Selected officers appointed under normal terms and conditions of Govt of India.
- Applications must be forwarded through proper channel with Cadre Controlling Authority counter-signature.
- Photocopies of APARs for last 5 years (2019-20 to 2023-24) duly attested must be enclosed.
- Incomplete applications, applications without proper channel or without attested APARs will be rejected.
- Maximum age limit for deputation not to exceed 56 years.
- Period of deputation ordinarily not to exceed 3 years.
- Departmental officers in feeder category not eligible for deputation.
