- Civil Assistant Surgeon Specialist: Must have passed PG Degree / DNB / Diploma in the particular specialty or its equivalent qualification included in the schedule - I & II of the MCI Act, 1956. Registered in A.P. Medical Council with current validity.
- Civil Assistant Surgeon (General): Must have passed MBBS or its equivalent qualification included in the schedule - I & II of the MCI Act, 1956. Registered in A.P. Medical Council with current validity.
