How to Apply for ECHS Recruitment 2026?
- Visit www.echs.gov.in and click on "Employment Opportunities".
- Download the application form and the terms and conditions.
- Fill in the application form in the prescribed format.
- Attach self-attested photocopies of testimonials supporting educational qualifications and work experience.
- Prepare the application in triplicate.
- Send it so that it reaches the OIC, Station HQ (ECHS Cell), by 14 October 2026.
- Candidates applying for Clerk and DEO posts under the Ex-servicemen category must register with AWPO and enclose the AWPO Registration Slip with the application.
ECHS Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
- Candidates meeting the qualitative requirement will be called for an interview at Station HQ on 02 November 2026.
- For the posts of Clerk and DEO, a written test and a computer practical test will also be conducted.
- Preference will be given to Ex-servicemen, Widows of Service Personnel and Veer Naris.
- No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
Documents Required for ECHS Interview
Bring the following original documents to the interview, and submit 3 copies of the application along with self-attested copies of the documents:
- Certificates and mark sheets of 10th/Matric, 10+2 and Graduation/Post Graduation/Diploma/Course
- MD/MS certificate in the specialty concerned (for specialist posts)
- Work Experience Certificate
- Medical Fitness Certificate duly signed by CMO/SEMO
- Character Certificate duly signed by Tehsildar
- Discharge Book and PPO (for Ex-servicemen)
- AWPO Registration Slip (for Ex-servicemen applying for Clerk and DEO)
On-Job Training (OJT) for Key Appointments
Selected candidates for Medical Specialist, Radiologist, Gynaecologist and Medical Officer must complete 10 days of On-Job Training and obtain a certificate from the OIC Polyclinic before taking charge and signing the contract. The OJT period will remain unpaid.
Important Instructions
- The engagement is purely contractual: 1 year for Ex-servicemen and 11 months for civil candidates.
- The contract can be renewed for an additional year, or until the candidate reaches the maximum age, subject to performance and other conditions.
- Applications received after 14 October 2026 will not be accepted.
- Candidates must reach Station HQ by 0900 hrs on 02 November 2026 with original documents.
- No TA/DA is admissible.
- Apply only for posts for which you meet the qualitative requirements.
