Eligibility Criteria
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized University/Institution
- Candidates who held the post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical) or superior post at the time of retirement from Central/State Public Works Department (PWD) or Central/State Public Sector Undertakings (CPSUs/PSUs)
Salary/Stipend
- For retired employees from pensionable Government employment: Consolidated monthly remuneration as per extant Government norms (Last drawn basic salary minus pension amount)
- For retired employees from non-pensionable employment (Autonomous bodies, PSUs etc.): Rs. 45,000/- per month (consolidated)
- Entitled to TA/DA for official tours as applicable to regular Assistant Engineer of ESIC
- No other perks/benefits such as DA, HRA, CCA, Transport Allowance, Medical Reimbursement

- Tenure of contract is one year, extendable yearly based on satisfactory performance or until regular appointment, whichever earlier. No extension beyond 65 years.
