Qualification

Professor: 

• Essential for Medical Candidates: (i) A post graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine) or MS (Master of Surgery) or DNB in the concerned subject from a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline.
• Essential for Non – Medical Candidates : Anatomy: MSc (Medical Anatomy) with PhD Medical Anatomy

Associate Professor: 

• Essential for Medical Candidates: (i) A post graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine) or MS (Master of Surgery) or DNB in the concerned subject from a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline.
• Essential for Non – Medical Candidates : (i) Anatomy: M.Sc. (Medical Anatomy) with PhD Medical Anatomy (ii) Physiology: M.Sc. (Medical Physiology) with PhD in Medical Physiology.

Assistant Professor: 

• Educational and other qualifications required (i) A post graduate qualification e.g. MD (Doctor of Medicine) or MS (Master of Surgery) or DNB in the concerned subject from a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective subject/allied discipline.
• Essential for Non – Medical Candidates : (i) Physiology: M.Sc. (Medical Physiology) with PhD in Medical Physiology (ii) Pharmacology: M.Sc. (Medical Pharmacology) with PhD in Medical Pharmacology

Salary

• Professor: Total consolidated pay Rs. 2,22,543/- only.
• Associate Professor: Total consolidated pay Rs. 1,47,986/- only.
• Assistant Professor: Total consolidated pay Rs. 1,27,141/- only.
