Candidates up to 45 years of age who have a PG Degree or PG Diploma in the concerned specialty with Medical Council registration, or MBBS with at least 2 years of experience (including 1 year in the concerned specialty) from a government/private hospital in the absence of PG-qualified candidates are eligible to attend the Senior Resident walk-in interview. ESIC Recruitment 2026 - Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Senior Resident (Orthopedics): PG Degree or PG Diploma holders in concerned specialty and registered with Medical Council. In the absence of PG qualified doctors, MBBS graduates who possess at least 2 years working experience out of which 1 year of experience in the concerned specialty from government hospital/private hospital (not a private clinic) will be considered for selection. However, Preference will be given to PG qualified candidates.
• Senior Resident (ENT): PG Degree or PG Diploma holders in concerned specialty and registered with Medical Council. In the absence of PG qualified doctors, MBBS graduates who possess at least 2 years working experience out of which 1 year of experience in the concerned specialty from government hospital/private hospital (not a private clinic) will be considered for selection. However, Preference will be given to PG qualified candidates.
• Senior Resident (Pediatric): PG Degree or PG Diploma holders in concerned specialty and registered with Medical Council. In the absence of PG qualified doctors, MBBS graduates who possess at least 2 years working experience out of which 1 year of experience in the concerned specialty from government hospital/private hospital (not a private clinic) will be considered for selection. However, Preference will be given to PG qualified candidates.
• Senior Resident (Surgery): PG Degree or PG Diploma holders in concerned specialty and registered with Medical Council. In the absence of PG qualified doctors, MBBS graduates who possess at least 2 years working experience out of which 1 year of experience in the concerned specialty from government hospital/private hospital (not a private clinic) will be considered for selection. However, Preference will be given to PG qualified candidates.
• Senior Resident (OBG): PG Degree or PG Diploma holders in concerned specialty and registered with Medical Council. In the absence of PG qualified doctors, MBBS graduates who possess at least 2 years working experience out of which 1 year of experience in the concerned specialty from government hospital/private hospital (not a private clinic) will be considered for selection. However, Preference will be given to PG qualified candidates.
• Senior Resident (Accident & Emergency): PG Degree or PG Diploma holders in concerned specialty and registered with Medical Council. In the absence of PG qualified doctors, MBBS graduates who possess at least 2 years working experience out of which 1 year of experience in the concerned specialty from government hospital/private hospital (not a private clinic) will be considered for selection. However, Preference will be given to PG qualified candidates.
• Senior Resident (General Medicine): PG Degree or PG Diploma holders in concerned specialty and registered with Medical Council. In the absence of PG qualified doctors, MBBS graduates who possess at least 2 years working experience out of which 1 year of experience in the concerned specialty from government hospital/private hospital (not a private clinic) will be considered for selection. However, Preference will be given to PG qualified candidates.
