Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: PG Degree or PG Diploma holders in concerned specialty and registered with Medical Council.
- In the absence of PG qualified doctors, MBBS graduates who possess at least 2 years working experience out of which 1 year of experience in the concerned specialty from government hospital/private hospital (not a private clinic) will be considered for selection.
- Preference will be given to PG qualified candidates.
Salary/ Stipend
- Consolidated Remuneration: Rs. 135129/- fixed per month for candidate having PG/Diploma.
- In addition to the pay, entitled for transport allowance with DA on transport allowance as per rule.
- An amount of Rs. 1687.50/- will be deducted for S.R.s possessing only Diploma and Rs.2812.50/- will be deducted if the S.R.s does not possess Diploma/Degree.
Age Limit (as on date of interview)
- Not exceeding 45 years.
- Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH as per rules.

General Information / Instructions
- Tenure of Contract will be 01 year from the date of actual joining or till regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier.
- In case regular incumbent joins, the appointment shall be terminated immediately. The discretion will be solely of Medical Superintendent.
- Private practice will not be allowed.
- Available on call 24x7.
- Entitled for leave @ 2.5 days for each month of work on prorate basis in a calendar year.
- Selected specialist must have a professional indemnity policy (minimum sum assured: Rs.30 lac for Anesthesiologists etc., Rs.20 lakhs for General Surgeons, Gynecologist etc., Rs.10 lacs for Physicians, Radiologists etc.). Copy of insurance & Premium receipt must be submitted within 7 days from engagement.
- Selected candidate will furnish DD of Rs. 30,000/- towards security deposit in favour of 'ESIC fund A/c No 1' payable at Vapi.
- No TA/DA admissible for walk-in-interview or joining.
- Number of posts may increase or decrease.
- Medical Superintendent reserves right to fill any or no posts or cancel interview.
- Selection subject to medical fitness Certificate from Medical Board at ESIC Hospital Vapi.
- Candidates must be registered with Medical Council of India before joining.
- No claim for regularization, PF, Pension, Gratuity, medical Allowance, Seniority, Promotion.
- If no suitable candidates available against advertised, other candidates present may be considered irrespective of category for short term engagement.
- Other T&C in line with HQ Letter dated 23.01.2018.
How to Apply
- Applicants having complete Bio-Data as per format (Annexure A-1) on ESIC website along with recent passport size photograph, one set of attested photocopies of testimonials (MBBS marks sheets & certificates, 10th certificate for DOB, category certificate, MCI/State registration etc.) report to office of Medical Superintendent, ESIC Hospital, Silvassa Road, Chanod, Vapi, Distt.- Valsad (Gujarat) on 20 January 2026 up to 11:00 AM.
- Any application received after 11:00 AM will not be entertained.
- Candidates claiming reservation must possess valid certificates in prescribed format.
- Bring original certificates/documents with one set of self-attested photocopies.
