FSSAI Internship 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Students must be pursuing a full-time Graduate, Post Graduate or higher degree from a recognised institute in India or abroad in specified disciplines to be eligible for FSSAI Internship 2026.
- Food & Technical Streams: PG Degree / B.Tech / BE in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Technology, Food Science & Technology, Food & Nutrition, Edible Oil Technology, Microbiology, Dairy Technology, Agricultural / Horticultural Sciences, Industrial Microbiology, Toxicology, Public Health, Life Science, Biotechnology, Fruit & Vegetable Technology, Food Safety & Quality Assurance.
- Management & Related Fields: Business Administration & Management including Policy, Finance, Taxation, Marketing, HR, Economics, Statistics, ICT, Entrepreneurship and related areas.
- Media & Communication: PG Diploma / Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication and Public Relations.
- IT & Computer Science: B.E. / B.Tech (only 3rd & 4th year) in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related streams.
- Other Disciplines: PG Degree / Diploma in Public Policy / Public Administration (for FSSAI HQ only), Bachelor / Master of Law, Bachelor of Commerce & equivalent courses.
Students who have already completed the above courses are not eligible to apply for the FSSAI Internship April–June 2026.
FSSAI Internship 2026 Stipend
Under the FSSAI Internship April–June 2026, selected deserving interns will be paid a consolidated stipend for the entire internship period. The stipend is released on the recommendation of the concerned office/division based on attendance and performance.
