Selection will be done through Walk-in-Interview. Final engagement is tenure-based for 06 months, extendable only as per the recommendation of the Selection Committee and subject to the approval of the competent authority. In case of selection through walk-in-interview, candidates must apply afresh when the regular advertisement is released.
Stage 1 - Walk-in-Interview
Walk-in-Interview will be held on 25-05-2026 (Monday) at 2:00 P.M. in the office of Director Principal (Room No. 210), Level-2, Block-D, GMCH, Chandigarh. Applications will be received upto 11:00 A.M. on the same day. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview.
Stage 2 - Reservation & Merit

The posts of Senior Residents, CMO (General Medicine & General Surgery), Resident Anaesthetist & Resident Pathologist are tenure posts. Appointments will be made for a period of 06 months or may be extendable, only as per the recommendation of the Selection Committee and further subject to the approval of the competent authority, as per requirement or till the regular incumbent joins through regular selections. In case the work and conduct of the appointee does not remain satisfactory at any stage, services shall be terminated without assigning any reason.
