Eligibility Criteria
- CGM/GM (Planning & Design): Graduate in Civil Engineering; minimum 10 years relevant experience in DPR review, approvals, progress monitoring, major infrastructure construction, and structural/architectural design coordination; 17–23 years total executive experience depending on level and sector (IDA/CDA/private/post-superannuation).
- CGM/GM (Contracts): Graduate in Civil Engineering; at least 10 years’ experience in tender processing, evaluation, and contract handling for large infra projects, preferably with multilateral funding (World Bank/AFD/ADB); 17–23 years executive experience as per scale/sector.
- DGM (Civil–Safety): Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering plus one-year full-time Diploma in Industrial Safety; 8–10 years post-qualification executive experience with 6 years in civil safety for major infrastructure projects.
- Assistant Manager (Civil–Safety): Same qualification as DGM Civil–Safety with 5–7 years post-qualification experience, including 4 years relevant safety experience.
- Assistant Manager (Operations): Degree in Electrical/Electronics & Communication/Mechanical/Computer Engineering/IT; 7 years train operations experience in private sector or 5 years in Metro/Railway/Railway PSU.
- Sr. Supervisor (Operations): Degree in Electrical/Electronics/E&C/Mechanical/Computer/IT; at least 6 years as Station Controller/Train Operator/Traffic Controller/Depot Controller in Metro/Railway/Railway PSU operations.
Age Limit (as on 27-11-2025)
- CGM/GM: Up to 57 years (contract), 58 years (deputation), 62 years (post-superannuation).
- DGM: 45 years (contract), 58 years (deputation).
- Assistant Manager: 35 years (contract).
- Sr. Supervisor: 32 years.
- Age limits not applicable to serving GMRC employees (with conditions); experience and age are reckoned as on advertisement date.
Salary/Stipend
- CGM/GM: IDA scale ₹120000–280000 (approx. ₹3.5 lakh/month CTC); post-superannuation consolidated ₹1,70,000/month; minimum CTC requirement ₹2.5 lakh/month.
- DGM (Civil–Safety): IDA ₹70000–200000 (approx. ₹2 lakh/month CTC); minimum CTC around ₹1,00,000/month.
- Assistant Manager (Civil–Safety/Operations): IDA ₹50000–160000 (approx. ₹1.2 lakh/month CTC); minimum CTC about ₹70,000/month.
- Sr. Supervisor (Operations): IDA ₹46000–145000 (approx. ₹1 lakh/month CTC); minimum CTC about ₹50,000/month.
- Other benefits include HRA, group medical coverage, group personal accident insurance, and benefits as per GMRC policies.
Selection Process
- Selection consists of Personal Interview followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.
- Shortlisting is based on eligibility, experience in same/immediate lower grade, and management’s assessment; venue, date, and time of interview are sent via registered email.
- Candidates must produce original certificates for verification; those failing document checks will not be allowed for interview.
