GSSSB Junior Industry Inspector Recruitment 2026 - Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess:
(i) A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology (excluding Civil Engineering) from a recognized University/institution under UGC Act, 1956;
OR
(ii) A Diploma in Engineering or Technology (excluding Civil Engineering) from the Technical Examination Board or a recognized institution, with about 2 years of practical work experience as a technical worker (not as labour) in Government, Government undertaking, Board, or any large-scale industry/company under the Companies Act, 2013;
AND
(iii) Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967;
AND
(iv) Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
Note: Candidates without computer knowledge certificate at the time of application may still apply, but must produce the certificate before appointment, otherwise their selection will be cancelled.

The examination will be a single-stage MCQ-based CBRT/OMR competitive exam with two parts in one question paper. Total duration: 3 hours (180 minutes). Negative marking: 1/4 mark deducted for each wrong answer.
