Reservation Quota (Common to Both Notifications)
Reservation is admissible as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 / Government of India / HAL guidelines. PwD disability percentage must not be less than 40%. OBC candidates must produce a non-creamy layer certificate in the Central Government format, failing which they will be treated as General category.
HAL Nasik Apprentice Eligibility 2026
ITI Trades
- Candidates should have passed ITI in the respective trade recognized by an NCVT/SCVT-affiliated institute.
- Trades under Sr. No. 1–13 require a 2-year regular ITI course; trades under Sr. No. 14–17 require a 1-year regular ITI course.
- Candidates already registered as an apprentice elsewhere, or who have completed an apprenticeship, are not eligible.
- Registration on the NAPS portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) is mandatory, and the Registration Number (starting with A0XXXXX) must be indicated in the application form.
Engineering Graduate / Diploma / Non-Technical Graduate
- Engineering Graduates: 4-year B.E./B.Tech/B.Pharm degree in the respective branch from a recognized university.
- Diploma: 3-year Diploma in the respective branch approved by the State Board of Technical Education & AICTE (Medical Lab Technician: Government-approved Diploma, minimum 1-year duration).
- Non-Technical Graduates: 3/4-year degree (BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA) in the respective discipline from a recognized university.
- Candidates must have passed their qualifying degree/diploma in the year 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026, with a valid Passing Certificate as on the date of application. Candidates with status “Appearing” or “Result Awaited” (including pending backlogs/supplementary results) are not eligible.
- Candidates already registered as an apprentice elsewhere, or who have completed an apprenticeship, are not eligible.
- Candidates pursuing regular engineering after a diploma cannot apply for a diploma apprenticeship on the basis of their diploma qualification.
- Registration on the NATS 2.0 portal (https://nats.education.gov.in) is mandatory, and the Student ID/Enrollment Number must be indicated in the application form.
Common Eligibility Points
- Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
- Apprenticeship in the same trade can be undertaken only once, as per the Apprenticeship Act.
- Names on the portal, Aadhaar, and qualifying certificate must match exactly, with no spelling discrepancies.
HAL Nasik Apprentice Age Limit
Important: Neither the ITI notification nor the Engineering Graduate/Diploma/Non-Technical Graduate notification specifies an upper or lower age limit for applicants. This is not specified in the official notification. Candidates should note that eligibility is instead governed by the qualifying-year window (2022–2026 for Graduate/Diploma/Non-Tech posts) and passing status.
HAL Nasik Apprentice Stipend 2026
Note: Stipend is credited only to an Aadhaar-seeded SBI Bank savings account. Joint accounts and Jan-Dhan accounts are not accepted; candidates must convert to a regular SBI savings account before joining.
HAL Nasik Apprentice Selection Process
Selection is merit-based on qualifying marks — there is no written examination or interview. Shortlisted candidates undergo physical document verification before joining.
Merit List Preparation
- ITI candidates: Merit score is computed with 70% weightage to SSC (10th) marks and 30% weightage to ITI marks (marks of all semesters considered).
- Engineering Graduate/Diploma/Non-Technical Graduate candidates: Merit score is based on the passing mark list/certificate of the qualifying degree or diploma.
Selection Stages
- Online registration on NAPS/NATS 2.0 portal and submission of application form.
- Preparation of merit list based on qualifying marks.
- Physical document verification of shortlisted candidates (2nd & 3rd week of September 2026).
- Publication of final shortlisted candidates’ list (4th week of September 2026).
- Joining for apprenticeship training (1st & 2nd week of October 2026), subject to medical fitness and police verification.
How to Apply for HAL Nasik Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Important discrepancy: The application form links printed inside the official PDF notifications (zfrmz.in short links) differ from the Zoho-hosted form links supplied separately for this article. Both are provided below; candidates are strongly advised to cross-check the current active link on the official HAL Nasik careers page before applying.
Step 1: Portal Registration
- ITI candidates: Register on the NAPS portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) with SSC (10th) and ITI education details and obtain a Registration Number (starts with A0XXXXX). Ensure the profile is 100% complete, including mandatory e-KYC and Beneficiary ID.
- Engineering Graduate/Diploma/Non-Technical Graduate candidates: Register on the NATS 2.0 portal (https://nats.education.gov.in) with degree/diploma education details and obtain a Student ID/Enrollment ID. Candidates who completed engineering after a diploma must upgrade their profile to Engineering Graduate. Mandatory e-KYC and APAAR ID are required.
Step 2: Fill the Application Form
After obtaining the Registration Number/Student ID, open the application form via the link or QR code and fill in all details accurately as per documentary proof. The form can be filled only once and cannot be corrected after submission.
- Upload original scanned documents (Aadhaar Card, SSC/Degree/Diploma certificate, marksheets, Bank Passbook, etc.) on the portal profile. Mobile screenshots, internet result copies, or photocopies are not accepted.
- On successful submission, the message “Thank You! Your Form is Submitted Successfully!” will be displayed.
Important: No application/registration fee is charged anywhere in this process. Engagement of apprenticeship training is entirely free of cost.

- Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwD), as applicable, in the prescribed format
- Bank Passbook (Aadhaar-seeded SBI savings account, not joint or Jan-Dhan account)
- Medical fitness certificate from a certified Medical Practitioner (minimum MBBS) – required at joining
- Police Verification Report from the residing district/tehsil’s Superintendent/Commissioner of Police – required at joining
Important Conditions
- This is a 1-year apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 — not a permanent job. HAL-Nasik has no obligation to offer employment after completion.
- Apprenticeship training is a tripartite contract among the candidate, HAL, and the respective board (BOAT/RDAT). Certificates are issued by the board only after successful completion.
- If apprenticeship is discontinued before completion, the proportionate cost of training is recovered from the candidate as per rules.
- Candidates must make their own arrangements for accommodation and travel during the engagement/training process; no TA/DA is paid. Limited accommodation may be available subject to availability.
- Canvassing in any form will result in disqualification.
- HAL reserves the right to cancel or change the advertisement, selection process, or allocation quota at its discretion; the decision of HAL Management is final.
- Any discrepancy, incorrect information, or suppression of material facts detected at any stage will lead to cancellation/termination of candidature.
