Eligibility Criteria for HAL Operator & Staff Nurse 2025

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates applying must have acquired their qualifications through regular mode only. The minimum percentage of marks required in the qualifying examination is 60% for UR/OBC and 50% for SC/ST/PwBD candidates.

• Operator (Electrical) (D6): Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Operator (Electronics) (D6): Diploma in Electronics / Electronics & Tele Communication / Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• Operator (Mechanical) (D6): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Operator (Fitter) (C5): SSC/SSLC plus NTC/ ITI plus NAC/NCTVT in the Fitter Trade.
• Staff Nurse (C5): PUC/Inter + Diploma in General Nursing (Certificate of registration from State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council is mandatory).

2. Age Limit

The age limit for HAL Recruitment 2025 is:

• Maximum Age: 28 years (as on 10-12-2025)
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 10 years for PwBD (over and above category relaxation), up to 7 years for relevant post-qualification experience (max age 35 years with experience), and for Ex-Servicemen as per government norms.

Salary/Stipend

Personnel engaged on a tenure basis will receive a Consolidated Remuneration every month. The remuneration includes Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), and Perks & Allowances (25% of Basic Pay).

• Minimum Salary (Basic Pay for C5 posts): Rs. 22,000/- per month
• Maximum Salary (Basic Pay for D6 posts): Rs. 23,000/- per month
• Salary Unit: Per month (Consolidated Remuneration)

Additional benefits include a monthly medical reimbursement of Rs. 1500/-, incentives, Quarterly Performance Pay, HRA (if company quarter not provided), and Group Insurance benefits.

Selection Process for HAL Operator & Staff Nurse 2025

Candidates will be shortlisted for a Written Test based on the marks secured in the Qualifying Examination (cut-off decided by HAL). The Written Test will be of 2.5 hours duration with Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs) in three parts:

• Part-I: 20 questions on General Awareness.
• Part-II: 40 questions on English & Reasoning.
• Part-III: 100 questions on the concerned Discipline.

There is no negative marking, and candidates need at least 50% marks to qualify for document verification. Final selection is subject to document verification, pre-employment medical examination, and character verification.
