The maximum age limit is 45 years. Age relaxation may be considered for Specialists by the Competent Authority.

Health Department Diu Important Instructions
- All above posts are purely on contract basis for the fixed period of 6 months under UT Plan.
- In case of continuation contract will be extended based on performance appraisal or till the post are filled up on regular basis.
- Graduate/Master/PG Degree/PG Diploma & valid registration is compulsory.
- Candidates having domicile certificate of UT of DNH, Daman & Diu will be given preference.
- For smooth functioning of Health Department, the Specialist need to be available on call as & when required and their residence to be compulsory in head quarter in public interest.
- Candidates can leave the head quarter after due approval of respective Head of Office, and an undertaking has to be given that he/she will not do any private practice.
- No T.A./D.A or any other claim shall be paid for attending the interview.
