Eligibility Criteria
- Assistant Vice President (AVP) – Fire, Safety & Security (E6):
- Qualifications: Full-time regular engineering degree in Fire; Or Full time regular engineering degree in Safety; Or Full time regular engineering degree with PG Diploma in Fire /Safety.
- Experience (Essential): Minimum 18 years post qualification experience out of which minimum 05 years in Large Hydrocarbon Sector/Process Plants/Fertiliser Plants/Manufacturing Plants/Companies (min turnover of Rs. 500 cr) OR 05 years’ experience of above combination with 02 years in managerial role/position is mandatory.
- Senior Officer – Fire (E1):
- Qualifications: Full-time regular engineering degree in Fire; Or Full time regular engineering degree and Degree/ Diploma in Fire; Or Full time regular engineering degree.
- Experience (Essential): 02 years in firefighting management in Large Hydrocarbon sector/Process Plants/Fertiliser Plants/Heavy Industry/Manufacturing Plants/Companies (min turnover of Rs. 500 cr) OR 02 years experience in firefighting management in Large Hydrocarbon sector depending on qualification pathway.
- General Requirements:
- Candidates must secure minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) in Graduation.
- All work experiences will be considered post qualifying degree only.
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in the sector-wise preference order (LNG Terminal experience preferred).
Salary/Stipend
- Basic Pay Scale for E1 Grade: ₹40000 - 140000
- Basic Pay Scale for E6 Grade: ₹90000 - 240000
- Approximate Cost to Company (CTC) for E1 Grade is 10.91 Lakhs INR per annum.
- Approximate CTC for E6 Grade is 27.22 Lakhs INR per annum.
- The CTC includes Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, HRA, Cafeteria Allowance, and Retirement Benefits.
- Salary Unit: Per month (basic pay scale) / Per annum (CTC)
Age Limit (as on 30-12-2025)
- Maximum Age for Senior Officer (E1): 27 years as on cut-off date.
- Maximum Age for Assistant Vice President (AVP) (E6): 45 years as on cut-off date, with age relaxations provided for those with extensive Large Hydrocarbon sector experience (up to 51 years).
- Age relaxation of 5 years for SC & ST, 3 years for OBC-NC candidates is applicable.
- Cutoff date for reckoning the age criteria is 30th December 2025.

Selection Process
- Candidates fulfilling all eligibility criteria will be considered for further selection process (single stage or multiple stage interview).
- HPLNG may adopt shortlisting criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview.
- A category-wise merit list will be drawn for candidates who qualify in all selection parameters (Minimum qualifying marks: 60% for UR/OBC-NC/EWS, 50% for SC/ ST).
- Final selection is subject to the candidate being medically fit as per company standards.
General Information/Instructions
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
- All postings will be at the greenfield LNG Terminal at Chhara, District Gir-Somnath, Gujarat, and may involve shift duties.
- Selected officers will be on Probation for 1 year from the Date of Joining.
- A retention amount of ₹5,000/- per month will be deducted for the first six months during probation, refundable without interest upon confirmation.
- No relaxation for PwBD candidates is applicable for these positions.
