Post: Young Professional-I (YP-I) - Nano Urea Research Project (2 Vacancies)
Project Overview
This is a network project funded by ICAR focusing on the evaluation of nano urea applications on crop productivity and nitrogen use efficiency across diverse agro-ecological zones of India. The project aims to develop sustainable agricultural practices using nanotechnology for improved nutrient management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field experiments on nano urea applications in different agro-ecological zones.
- Monitor crop productivity and nitrogen use efficiency parameters.
- Collect, analyze, and compile experimental data.
- Prepare technical reports and research documentation.
- Collaborate with research team and participate in field surveys.
- Support in data entry and laboratory analysis.
- Assist in preparation of project reports and manuscripts.
- Participate in field days and farmer demonstrations.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (Essential)
- Graduate in Agricultural Science (with specialization in Soil Science or Agronomy)
- B.Sc. in Botany
- B.Sc. in Life Science
- B.Sc. in Environmental Science
Must be from a recognized university or institute with good academic record.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in field research or agricultural projects.
- Knowledge of soil science and plant nutrition.
- Familiarity with crop production practices.
- Experience in data collection and analysis.
- Knowledge of nano fertilizers and their applications.
