Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: 12th in Science + Diploma (MLT/DMLT/Engineering) with 5 years of experience in relevant subject/field
- Desirable Experience: Working experience of 1-2 years in molecular biology-based techniques.
Salary/ Stipend
- Rs.20,000/- + HRA as admissible per month
Age Limit (as on 19-01-2026)
- 30 years
- With relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per GoI guidelines.

General Information / Instructions
- The registration for walk-in-interview will begin at 10.00 am on 19.01.2026
- Candidates should bring detailed bio-data affixing a recent passport size photograph.
- Place of work will be at ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Hebbal, Bengaluru.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in interview.
- The decision of the Joint Director, ICAR-IVRI will be final and binding in all respects.
- Above positions are purely temporary & time bound and may be terminated by the Competent Authority without assigning any reason.
- Only Indian citizens are eligible for appearing in the walk-in-interview.
- The upper age limits are indicated against the post with relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per GoI guidelines.
- Period of contract is one year and extendable based on performance and project duration.
- These positions are purely on temporary basis. The selected candidates shall have no right/claim for regular appointment or absorption at ICAR-IVRI at any point of time.
- Candidates are requested to ensure their eligibility like age, qualification etc. before appearing for the interview.
- Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to cancellation of candidature or termination.
- Person already in employment should submit "No Objection Certificate" from their present employer.
- The selected candidates will be stationed at IVRI, Bengaluru and may have to conduct field work involving frequent travel, laboratory works and survey as and when required.
- Selected candidates will be required to produce all original documents at the time of joining for verification purpose.
- The selected candidate will be required to produce medical fitness certificate at the time of joining.
- The Joint Director, ICAR-IVRI reserves the right to cancel/postpone the interview without assigning any reason thereof.
- The Joint Director ICAR-IVRI shall also reserve the right to terminate the contract of job as mentioned above, even before the completion of one year for which no appeal thereof shall be made.
