IISc Psychiatric Social Worker Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 45 years as on the last date of receipt of the application (28.10.2026). Age relaxation as per GoI norms (if applicable) will be extended.

IISc Psychiatric Social Worker Salary

Except for the consolidated and fixed emoluments, no other benefits will be extended. No claim for any service benefits like PF, Pension, Medical Allowance, Seniority & Promotion, etc., from this contract appointment will be admissible. An increment of up to 10% is admissible in the case of extension, based on the performance of the candidate and the recommendation of the Chairperson of the Wellness Centre.

The selection process consists of the shortlisting of applications followed by an interview.

Interview

Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview, which may be conducted in person or via an electronic mode (Zoom Call/Microsoft Teams). Candidates must be prepared to give interviews in all media if required. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending an in-person interview.

• Accommodation will be provided on the Institute campus in the hostel during the course of your stay.
• The contract can be terminated at any time by giving one month’s notice by either side.
