IIT Delhi Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria

• Senior Research Fellow (a): Master's degree in chemistry with a specialization in organic chemistry with NET/GATE and 2 years of research experience. Minimum 6 months research experience in sol-gel chemistry with a specific focus on polymer based-aerogel synthesis after post-graduation. Strong hands-on experience in utilizing various lab facilities in synthesizing aerogel and its detailed characterizations.
• Senior Research Fellow (b): 1st class M.Tech in Polymer Science and Technology with NET/GATE having a research background in textile and fibres. Minimum 02 years experience on electrospinning, melt spinning, with knowledge of aerogels after post-graduation. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience of nanomaterial synthesis and its detailed characterizations.
• Project Attendant: Graduation degree with at least 3 months of extensive experience in a chemical research lab, Sufficient knowledge in establishment and administrative matters, proficiency in computer skills, including GeM procurement knowledge, setting-up and managing lab equipment and inventory, etc. with having at least 3 years experience. (The requirement of NET/GATE examination for the selection to the post of JRF/SRF may be relaxed for the candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks)).
