1. Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Computer Science from a recognized University or equivalent.
• Qualification must be obtained from a recognized University/Institute as per institute norms.

2. Desirable Skills

• Strong programming skills relevant to the project work.
• Knowledge in Signal Processing, Machine Learning and Deep Learning is preferable.

3. Project and Job Profile

• The post is under the project code EECE/SRMP/DRDO-CARS/8.122 titled “Development of real-time audio and speech processing modules for robot audition”.
• The selected Project Assistant will work on development of real-time audio and speech processing modules as per the project requirements.

Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years as on the date of the selection process.
• Eligibility in terms of age, qualification and experience will be considered as on the date of the selection process.

Salary/Stipend

• Consolidated Emoluments: ₹ 20,000/- per month.
• House Rent Allowance: Additional 16% HRA per month over the consolidated emoluments.
• The position is purely temporary and does not carry regular institute benefits like housing or medical facility applicable to permanent employees.

Selection Process

• Applications will be initially screened and shortlisted for a test based on minimum essential qualifications and other criteria decided by IIT Dharwad.
• Candidates shortlisted from the test will be further shortlisted for an interview.
• The test and interview will be conducted online; date and time slots will be communicated through email to shortlisted candidates.
