Desirable Qualifications
- Exposure to methodologies for dataset validation, error analysis, and annotation quality assessment.
- Ability to design reproducible experiments, perform error analysis, and report results with proper metrics.
- Prior experience in Python platforms such as NLTK, Anaconda, and Jupyter/Python notebooks along with basic versioning system (Git & Github) knowledge.
- Familiarity with web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and jQuery, along with backend and deployment technologies such as Flask, Nginx, MongoDB, SQL, ElasticSearch, or similar frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to write efficient, clean, and well-documented Python code.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience in the implementation of at least one ML/NLP-based project, preferably involving real-world datasets.
- Experience in conducting research and publishing papers in peer-reviewed conferences and/or journals.
- Ability to read, understand, and implement research ideas from academic literature, and to conduct systematic experiments and analysis.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a research-oriented environment.
Pay and Tenure
The selected candidate will receive a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 54,600/- along with a House Rent Allowance of Rs. 12,600/- per month, applicable as per institute norms. The appointment is for a duration of 12 months, which may be extended based on satisfactory performance and the availability of funds.
