Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualifications:
- Doctoral Degree in Material Science & Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace engineering/Metallurgical Engineering or Master’s degree in Material Science & Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace engineering/Metallurgical Engineering or technology from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Three years’ experience in Research and development in industrial/academic institution / research and technology organization and scientific activities and services.
- Desirable Qualification:
- Proven hands-on experience with advanced mechanical characterization instruments (Universal Tribometer, Micro Hardness Tester, Dynamic Mechanical Analyzer (DMA)).
- Experience in sample preparation, microstructural studies, and surface treatment techniques.
- Familiarity with thermal, fatigue, and creep testing protocols.
- Sound understanding of ASTM/ISO testing standards.
Salary/Stipend
- Fellowship: ₹67,000 per month + HRA.
- An increment of 5% is applicable for every 2 years of experience, subjected to performance review.
