1. Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess B.S. 4 years programme / Integrated B.S.-M.S. / M.Sc. / B.E. / B.Tech. or equivalent degree, with at least 65% marks and passing of NET/GATE test.
Selected through a process described through any one of the following:
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests - CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
- The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.
Age Limit
The age limit for IIT Kharagpur JRF Recruitment 2025 is:
- Maximum Age: 28 years
- Age Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Physically Handicapped/Visually Handicapped and female applicants
