All candidates pay Rs. 750 online at the time of application submission, since no other payment mode is accepted. Refunds are processed only for candidates who appear in the Written Test: women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates (who are exempt from the application fee) get the full Rs. 750 back, while all other candidates get Rs. 500 back after the application fee is deducted. Based on Written Test performance, candidates are shortlisted for the Skill Test, generally in a 1:5 ratio with a minimum of 10 candidates category-wise.

Skill Test

The Skill Test is purely qualifying in nature, evaluated out of 100 marks, with a minimum qualifying score of 60%. It is a chalk-and-board based test where each candidate is given a subject-related topic and must demonstrate subject knowledge and teaching ability by conducting a mock class.
