Essential Qualifications (As per UGC Regulations 2018)
Professor:
- Ph.D. in concerned/allied/relevant discipline
- Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed/Scopus/Web of Science/JAI indexed journals
- Total Research Score of 120
- Minimum 10 years teaching/research experience with evidence of guiding doctoral candidates
Associate Professor:
- Ph.D. + Master’s degree with 55% marks
- Minimum 8 years teaching/research experience
- Minimum 7 publications + Research Score of 75
Assistant Professor:
- Master’s degree with 55% marks + NET/SLET/SET or Ph.D. as per UGC regulations
- Relaxation of 5% in marks for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD candidates
Relaxations as per GoI/UGC norms for reserved categories are applicable.
