Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Pass in 10th class or equivalent examination.
- Essential Qualification: Valid driving license.
Salary/ Stipend
- Daily wage: Rs. 715/- for 8 hours duty, plus additional allowances like incentives, allowances, dearness allowance.
- Sign in & Sign off beyond 8 hours duty: Rs. 130/- per hour on pro-rata basis.
- No overtime for holidays.
- Rest one day per week and one holiday per month.
Age Limit
- Minimum age 20 years.
- Maximum age 30 years for candidates with Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) license.
- Maximum age 45 years for candidates with Heavy Passenger Vehicle (HPV) license.
Application Fee
- Registration fee: Rs. 200/-.
- Security deposit for selected candidates: Rs. 30,000/-.
- For LMV holders: Additional Rs. 30,000/- deposit.

Selection Process
- Scrutiny of applications and shortlisting.
- Written examination.
- Practical test.
General Information / Instructions
- Candidates must be physically fit for the duties in all periods.
- Selected candidates must pay Rs. 200/- registration fee and Rs. 30,000/- security deposit.
- Candidates with LMV license must obtain HPV license within 2 years. Failure leads to termination.
- For LMV candidates, additional Rs. 30,000/- deposit for 2 years, with bond of 16 lakhs per month, and bond breakage forfeits Rs. 30,000/-.
- Selected candidates must submit Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) within 10 days.
- Insurance premium will be deducted from salary for LMV/HPV holders.
- Selected must join within 2 years, with bond, failure leads to forfeiture.
- After probation, no extra claims.
- Uniform allowance and washing allowance provided, but must maintain cleanliness.
- No transfer outside KSRTC-SWIFT.
- After one month, if misconduct, deposit forfeited.
- Medical fitness required.
- Bus bay and terminal discipline must be followed.
- Customer service emphasis: "Customer is the most important person in our premises".
- Must check uniform, badges, etc., before duty.
- If found unfit during duty, termination without notice.
- Maintain dignity of post and uniform.
- If damage to vehicle/property due to negligence, recovery from salary or deposit.
- No private practice or other jobs.
- Must follow all rules of KSRTC and KSRTC-SWIFT.
- Must not damage company reputation.
- Compensation for accidents/death as per rules.
- Must submit mobile number for communication.
- Must follow superior orders.
- Must not indulge in union activities that affect work.
- Must report any issues to superiors.
- Must maintain vehicle log book.
- Must not leave duty without permission.
- Must handle tickets and cash properly.
- Must be polite with passengers.
- Must follow traffic rules.
- Must not use mobile while driving.
- Must attend training if required.
- Must maintain hygiene.
- Must not consume alcohol or drugs.
