Educational Qualification
Junior Engineer (Mechanical):
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 16 years post-qualification experience in construction/supervision of projects in Hydrocarbon industry (process plants, pipelines, refinery, LPG plant, depots, compressor/pumping stations etc.).
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering & NDT Level-2 Certification. Minimum 16 years post-qualification experience in construction/supervision of projects in Hydrocarbon industry.
Junior Engineer (Civil)
- Diploma in Civil Engineering. Minimum 16 years post-qualification experience in design/site supervision for building construction/industrial projects.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering. Minimum 16 years post-qualification experience in construction/supervision of industrial projects, preferably in Hydrocarbon industry.
Junior Engineer (Electrical)
- Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering (or combination where Electrical is one branch). Minimum 16 years post-qualification experience in design/construction of electrical works for building/infrastructure/industrial projects.
Junior Officer (HR)
- BBA / Graduate in any discipline. Minimum 16 years post-qualification experience in the entire gamut of HR.
Junior Officer (Admin.)
- BBA / Graduate in any discipline. Minimum 16 years post-qualification experience in administrative work.

Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), and by 10/13/15 years for PwD (UR/OBC/SC-ST) as per Government of India guidelines. Candidates domiciled in J&K during 01.01.1980–31.12.1989, Ex-Servicemen and other categories receive relaxation as per rules, subject to a maximum age not exceeding 52 years on the cut-off date.
Additionally, 1 year of age relaxation is provided for every 1 year of additional relevant experience, limited to a maximum of 3 years, within the overall upper age cap of 52 years.
Work Experience Definition
Only full-time, regular salary-based work in relevant areas will be considered towards the required 16 years of post-qualification experience. Freelance, entrepreneurial, teaching, research, articleship/internship (other than certain PSU training and apprenticeship as specified) will not be counted.
