Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification for Senior Software Developer: Bachelors/Masters degree in Information Technology / Computer Science/ Computer Applications, or BE/ME/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or IT.
- Experience for Senior Software Developer: 4 years in software development (Experience may not be a bar for technically competent candidates) Expertise in PHP web frameworks including Yii/Laravel/CodeIgniter Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript/HTML/CSS) to ensure seamless integration with back-end development. Experience with MySQL/Maria DB/MSSQL Familiarity with version control systems (like Git), and deployment tools for CI/CD processes
- Qualification for Junior Software Developer: Bachelors/Masters degree in Information Technology / Computer Science/ Computer Applications, or BE/ME/B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or IT. Knowledge of PHP web frameworks including Laravel/CodeIgniter Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5. Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming. Familiarity with MySQL/Maria DB/ MSSQL
- Experience for Junior Software Developer: 2+ years of experience in software development (Experience may not be a bar for technically competent candidates)
Salary/ Stipend
- Senior Software Developer: ₹ 30,000/- per month (Rupees Thirty Thousand only)
- Junior Software Developer: ₹ 23,000/- per month (Rupees Twenty Three Thousand only)
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
- Senior Software Developer: Not below 23 years and not more than 45 years (Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC Candidates as per rules.) A relaxation of 1 year in age for every 1 year of service upto a maximum of 5 years will be given to candidates for experience in Universities.
- Junior Software Developer: 21-45 years (Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC Candidates as per rules.) A relaxation of 1 year in age for every 1 year of service upto a maximum of 5 years will be given to candidates for experience in Universities.

General Information / Instructions
- Interested candidates are directed to appear for the walk-in-interview with the originals of the mark lists and certificates in proof of age, caste, qualifications, experience etc.
- The candidates are directed to submit self-attested copies of the documents along with one set of bio-data at the time of the Interview.
- Candidates shall report to Ad. A4 Section, Administrative Block, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam at 9.00 am on the same date for verification of certificates.

- Appear for the walk-in-interview on 21 January 2026 at 11.00 am Venue: Mahatma Gandhi University Administrative Block - VICE CHANCELLOR'S CHAMBER.
- Report to Ad. A4 Section, Administrative Block, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam at 9.00 am on the same date for verification of certificates.
- Bring the originals of the mark lists and certificates in proof of age, caste, qualifications, experience etc.
- Submit self-attested copies of the documents along with one set of bio-data at the time of the Interview.
