MPPGCL Graduate & Technician Apprentice 2025 – Important Details

MPPGCL Graduate & Technician Apprentice 2025 Vacancy Details

Vacancies are notified for one year Apprenticeship training in SGTPS Birsinghpur for Engineering and General Stream branches as per Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973 & 1986.

Category-wise (UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS) seats for each branch are given in the Hindi vacancy table in the notification.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Graduate Apprentice: Degree in Engineering/Technology in the concerned branch from a recognized University as per government rules.
• Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Engineering/Technology in the concerned branch from MP Technical Education recognized institution.
• General Stream Graduate Apprentice: Degree in B.Pharm, BCA, B.Sc, B.A, B.Com from recognized University.

Other Eligibility Conditions

• Candidate should not have been previously registered for Apprenticeship in any establishment/institution and should not have worked in any institution for one year or more.
• Degree/Diploma must be passed within maximum three years from current session 2025-26 i.e. passing year 2023, 2024 or 2025.
• Selection will be based on merit list prepared from marks obtained in the relevant branch.

Salary/Stipend

• Graduate Apprentice: Rs. 12,300/- (Rupees Twelve Thousand Three Hundred only) per month as stipend.
• Technician Apprentice: Rs. 10,900/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Nine Hundred only) per month as stipend.
• Stipend is payable during the apprenticeship period of 12 months as per Apprenticeship Act and rules.

Selection Process

• Preparation of merit list based on marks obtained in Degree/Diploma in the respective branch.
• Issue of offer letter to selected candidates through email and/or post.
• Selected apprentices must submit accident insurance policy of minimum Rs. 1,00,000 as safety requirement.
• Decision to select or cancel candidature of any trainee rests with MPPGCL without assigning any reason.

How To Apply

1. Download/view detailed notification, terms & conditions and application format from http://mppgcl.mp.gov.in/careers.html.
2. Fill the prescribed application form carefully in Hindi/English with all mandatory details as per instructions.
3. Attach self-attested copies of required documents:
   – Permanent resident certificate of Madhya Pradesh (for MP candidates).
   – Disability certificate (if applicable, for MP candidates).
   – Caste certificate (for reserved categories of MP).
   – EWS certificate (if applicable, for MP candidates).
   – Degree/Diploma certificate or provisional/final semester mark sheet showing CGPA/total marks.
   – 10th and 12th mark sheets.
   – Any other documents as specified in notification.
4. Paste recent passport size photograph in the space provided on the application form.
5. Mention clearly on the envelope the branch and category for which apprenticeship training is sought.
6. Send the complete application by post in prescribed format so as to reach:
   SGTPS, MPPGCL, Birsinghpur Distt.-Umaria (MP) – 484551”.
7. Applications received after the last date or with incomplete/incorrect information or without required self-attested documents will be rejected and no correspondence will be entertained.

Instructions

• Candidates who already applied under earlier Advertisement No. 511-0100/SE(TRG)/GA-TA/2025-26/257 dated 17.10.2025 and whose applications reached on or before 10.11.2025 need not apply again; their candidature will be considered.
• Company is not responsible for delay/loss/damage of application in post; applications received after 12/12/2025 will not be considered.
• Only candidates passed in the notified branches will be considered; incomplete or false information will lead to rejection.
• Selected apprentices must arrange their own accommodation and transport; subject to availability, company accommodation/transport may be given on payment basis.
• Each apprentice has to arrange safety items like helmet, gloves, safety shoes, goggles etc. at own cost.
• During apprenticeship, trainees will be eligible for 13 days casual leave, 10 days medical leave and weekly off as per rules.
