Eligibility Criteria
- Medical Officer (Group-B):
- Essential Qualification: M.B.B.S Degree from a Statutory University or any other qualification recognized under the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 (30 of 2019).
- Registration: Must have registered names as per provisions of the Maharashtra Medical Council Act, 1965, or whose names have been registered in the register maintained under the said Act.
- Additional Public Prosecutor (Group-A):
- Essential Qualification: Degree in Law.
- Experience: Experience of working as an Advocate in the High Court or in a Court Subordinate thereto for a period of eight years.
- Nature of Job: Advocate.
- Motor Vehicle Prosecutor (Group-A):
- Essential Qualification: Degree in Law.
- Experience: Practical experience for a minimum period of seven years as an Advocate after acquiring Certificate of Practice granted by the State or Indian Bar Council.
- Nature of Job: Advocate.
- Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer / Deputy Director (Group-A):
- Essential Qualification: Must have ceased to be a serving member of the Armed Forces of the Union and must have held the rank of Major and above in the Army, or rank equivalent thereto in the Navy or Air Force.
- Language: Must have adequate knowledge of Marathi so as to be able to speak, read and write the language with facility.
- Relaxation: If an officer of the requisite rank is not available, an officer holding the rank of Lieutenant and above in the Army or equivalent rank in the Navy or Air Force may also be considered.
- Deputy Executive Health Officer – MCGM (Group-B):
- Nature of Job: Responsible position in Health Administration OR Assistant Health Officer.

- Deputy Medical Superintendent (Group-A): Minimum 18; Maximum 50 for Open, 55 for Reserved/Orphans/PWD.
- Medical Officer (Group-B): Minimum 18; Maximum 45 for Open, 50 for Reserved.

Important Dates
General Information / Instructions
- The social / parallel reservation details for all posts mentioned above are as per the Government's requisition and are subject to change as per Government instructions.
- If there is any change in the number of posts or reservation details received from the Government, the same will be published on the MPSC website and the recruitment process will be carried out accordingly.
- Social reservation for various backward classes, Women, Sports persons, Orphans, etc. shall be as per the orders issued by the Government from time to time.
- Candidates claiming reservation under Vimukta Jati (A), Bhatakya Jamati (B), Bhatakya Jamati (K), and Bhatakya Jamati (D) categories must ensure they are not advanced and progressive persons / group in society. They must submit a valid Non-Creamy Layer certificate as per the prescribed format given by the competent authority.
- As per the Government decision of Women and Child Development Department, Govt. circular No. MAHIA-2023/Pra.Kra.123/Karya-2, dated 04 May 2023, the requirement of submitting Non-Creamy Layer certificate for reserved women candidates applying for reserved posts has been withdrawn.
- SC / ST women wishing to claim reservation for reserved posts must submit Non-Creamy Layer certificate from the concerned Backward Class Welfare Department and the General Administration Department as specified.
- Women candidates wishing to claim female reservation benefits must mandatorily be domiciled residents of Maharashtra and must clearly state in the application that they are domiciled in Maharashtra (Domiciled) and also clearly state their SC / ST or other backward class status if applicable.
- Posts reserved for Vimukta Jati (A), Bhatakya Jamati (B), Bhatakya Jamati (K), and Bhatakya Jamati (D) are inter-transferable. If eligible candidates from the reserved category are not available, candidates from the available category will be considered on the basis of merit.
- If a caste / tribe is declared eligible for State Government reservation and a certificate issued by the competent authority is available with the candidate, such caste / tribe candidates may be eligible for reservation benefits.
