Municipal Corporation of Delhi Senior Resident & Junior Resident Recruitment 2025 Vacancy Details 

Eligibility Criteria

• Senior Resident (SR): MBBS degree from MCI/NMC recognized university/institution with PG Degree/DNB/Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognized university or institute and registered with Delhi Medical Council.
• If adequate candidates with PG qualification are not available in a specialty, MBBS degree holders with two years’ experience (including at least one year in the concerned specialty) may be considered.
• Junior Resident (JR): MBBS degree from MCI/NMC recognized university/institution with completion of one year rotatory internship before date of joining and internship completed not earlier than two years before last date of application, plus DMC registration.
• Candidates must possess a valid Delhi Medical Council registration certificate and required caste/EWS/ PwD certificates where applicable.

Age Limit (as on Last Date of Submission)

• Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years.
• Junior Resident: Not exceeding 40 years.
• Age Relaxation: Up to 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PwD candidates as per Government of India rules.
• Age calculation date: As on the last day of submission of application (i.e., interview/registration date).

Application Fee

• General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 1000/- (non‑refundable) via Demand Draft in favour of Commissioner MCD Delhi.
• SC/ST: Rs. 500/- (non‑refundable) via Demand Draft.
• PwD: Exempted from payment of application fee.

Salary/Stipend

• Remuneration for Senior Residents and Junior Residents will be paid as per Central Residency Scheme and MCD norms applicable to Delhi Government hospitals.
• Exact pay scale and allowances will follow the rules in force at RBIPMT for SR and JR posts under MCD.

Selection Process

• Walk‑in interview on 15/12/2025 from 09:30 AM onwards in the office of Director, RBIPMT, Kingsway Camp, Delhi.
• Registration of candidates will be done between 09:30 AM and 11:00 AM on the same day.
• Selection based on interview and verification of eligibility documents; preference given to PwD and EWS candidates as per policy.
• Total tenure of SR normally up to 3 years (extendable up to 5 years in special cases) and JR up to 1 year (extendable up to 2 years) including past Govt. hospital service, as per Residency Scheme.

• No private practice is allowed during residency and tenure can be terminated at any time without assigning any reason.
