NALCO Executive Director Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

National Aluminium Company (NALCO) is recruiting for 2 Executive Director (M & R Complex) / E09 and Executive Director (Project) / E09 vacancies with a pay scale of 150000-Rs. 3,00,000 plus perks, allowances, and medical facilities. Who Can Apply

Executive Director (M & R Complex) / E09

• Qualification: Engineering graduate in Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical with a good academic record from a recognised university or institution. Candidates holding an MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Management will have an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 24 years of post-qualification experience as an Executive in PSUs or reputed/leading organisations. Must have at least 5 years of experience during the last ten years at a Senior Management level in Technical, Operations, or Maintenance in an Alumina Refinery. Must have wide exposure to Alumina Refinery operations, Aluminium Smelter operations, Captive Power Plant, Production Planning, process optimization, technology upgradation, and expansion projects.

Executive Director (Project) / E09

• Qualification: Engineering graduate in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil with a good academic record from a recognised university or institution. Candidates holding an MBA or Post Graduate Diploma in Management will have an added advantage.
• Experience: Minimum 24 years of post-qualification experience as an Executive in PSUs or reputed/leading organisations. Must have at least 10 years of experience during the last 20 years in Project management (Planning, execution, formulation, engineering, commercial) of large industrial projects. Must have wide exposure and proven experience in planning, execution, and commissioning of large industrial, metallurgical, or power projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield projects, EPC/EPCM contract management, procurement, vendor management, construction management, commissioning activities, statutory clearances, regulatory compliances, budgeting, cost control, and risk management.

Age Limit

Upper age limit as on 21.10.2026 shall not exceed 56 years including all possible age relaxations.

Pay and Terms

Selected candidates for E09 grade will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 150000 - 300000/-. In addition to Basic Pay and DA in the Industrial DA pattern, benefits include Perks (35% of basic pay), Performance Related Pay based on company and individual performance, company accommodation or HRA, medical facilities for self and family, post-retirement medical benefit, leave encashment, pension as per NPS, contributory provident fund, and gratuity as per company rules.

Selection Process

Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on information and declarations submitted during online application, criteria in Table-1 and Table-2, weightages assigned to percentage of marks in essential qualifications, minimum required experience, additional years of experience, and experience in companies with a turnover of 250 crores or more or listed companies. Experience from Mining, Metallurgical, Chemical, Power, and Manufacturing/Production sectors carries additional weightage. Eligible candidates will be called post-wise and category-wise in a ratio of 1:10 for the final assessment, which will be made through Personal Interview (PI) only.
