Post: Research Assistant-III under contractual basis through manpower agency for the project titled “Assessment of the effects of odor simulated virtual reality therapy on alleviating craving symptoms in alcohol use disorder”.
Essential Qualification: M.Sc./B.Tech./fulfilled the requirement for a Master’s degree or equivalent from a nationally recognized institute AND four or more years of research experience.
Desirable Experience: Experience in Neuroscience applications – Systems, Molecular and Cognitive – with strong background and interest in coding in MATLAB/Python.
Desirable Experience: Candidates with prior experience in setting up Virtual Reality environments will be preferred.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on the last date of receipt of application.

Salary/Stipend
Fellowship: ₹ 42,000/- per month (consolidated).
The post is purely project-based and the position is co-terminus with the availability of project funding.

Selection Process

General Information/Instructions
The post of Research Assistant-III is purely on contractual basis through manpower agency and co-terminus with the project funding availability.
The tenure will initially be for a period of 6 months and continued up to a year based on performance review and validity of the project.
Accommodation may be provided as per rules of NBRC, subject to availability.
Candidates must attach self-attested copies of educational qualification and experience certificates with the application, otherwise the application will be rejected.
