The minimum qualification document differs by post (Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics engineering diploma respectively); the remaining supporting documents are largely common. Common Documents for All Three Posts

• Original certificate of Matriculation/SSC/High School or equivalent examination from any recognized Board of Examination.
• Diploma or relevant and higher qualification (minimum 3-year course) in the relevant engineering branch from an institute recognized by the Government (see post-wise qualification table below).
• Photocopy of the Online Application Form and Admit Card.
• Original ID proof such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, etc., issued by the Government of India.
• Original and valid Caste Certificate issued by a Competent Authority in the prescribed format, for candidates claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)-NCL categories.
• For candidates under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS): a copy of a valid Income & Asset certificate issued by the competent authority as per DoPT OM No. 36039/1/2019-Estt (Res) dated 31.01.2019, based on gross annual income for Financial Year 2024-2025.
• Original Ex-Servicemen Discharge Certificate (if applicable).
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) if the candidate is currently employed in a Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector Undertaking (including departmental candidates)/Autonomous Body, as prescribed in the Employment Notification.
• Two sets of self-attested photocopies of all the above documents.
• 6 sets of recent passport-size photographs.

Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): For the Assistant Foreman (Electrical) and Assistant Foreman (Mechanical) posts, the notice explicitly lists an original PwBD certificate (in the Government of India prescribed format, showing disability percentage of more than 40%) as a required document for availing relaxation/reservation, if applicable. This item is not separately listed in the Assistant Foreman (E&T) document list in the notice.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Candidates must report on their assigned date, time, and venue with all original documents mentioned above.
• If any discrepancy is found during verification of original documents, or if a candidate fails to produce the documents listed, the candidate will be declared ineligible without prior notice.
• The list of candidates called for document verification is based solely on the marks scored in the Computer Based Test (CBT) (see the date discrepancy noted above). This call does not confer any right to appointment.
• A provisional merit list for appointment will be issued only after document scrutiny/verification is complete, based on the vacancies and other eligibility conditions in the Employment Notification.
• NCL will not reimburse any travel or other expenses incurred by candidates for attending the document verification. Candidates must make their own arrangements for stay until the process is complete.
• After verification, candidates should collect a "Certificate of Confirmation" as proof of their attendance, to be used for any future correspondence or claims with NCL.
• The scheduled time period will not be extended under any circumstances, and requests for extension will not be entertained regardless of reason.
• Candidates are advised to review the original Employment Notification again and self-assess their eligibility for the post applied, ensuring they meet all qualifications as prescribed, as on the crucial cutoff date of 05.03.2026 (the last date for online application submission).
