  • HEMM Operator (Trainee): Matriculate / SSC / High School or equivalent passed from any recognized Board of Secondary / Higher Secondary Education of Indian State(s). Valid HMV/Transport License issued from any RTA/RTO of Indian State(s).
  • Staff Nurse (Trainee), T&S Grade C: 10+2. Recognized Bachelor of Nursing (B. Sc. Nursing) / Recognized Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from recognized Institute approved by the Government. Candidate must have valid registration from any State Nursing Council.
  • Pharmacist (Trainee), T&S Grade C: 10+2 with Science. Diploma in Pharmacy from an Institute recognized /approved by the Pharmacy Council/ Central/ state. Candidate should possess valid registration with Pharmacy Council under Pharmacy Act, 1948.
  • Technician (Pathological) (Trainee), T&S Grade C: Higher Secondary (10+2) / Intermediate. Diploma in Pathology from an institute recognized by the Government.
  • Technician (Dental) (Trainee), T&S Grade D: Higher Secondary (10+2) / Intermediate. Diploma in Dentistry/Dental Technology from an institute recognized by the Govt.
  • Physiotherapist (Trainee), T&S Grade C: Diploma in Physiotherapy from an institute recognized by the Govt. (minimum 3 years course).
  • Technician (Refraction/Optometry) (Trainee), T&S Grade D: Higher Secondary (10+2) / Intermediate. Diploma in Refraction/Optometry from an institute recognized by the Govt.
  • Technician (Radiographer) (Trainee), T&S Grade C: Diploma in Radiography from an institute recognized by the Government.
  • Jr. Technician (ECG) (Trainee), T&S Grade D: Higher Secondary (10+2) / Intermediate. Two years' experience certificates as ECG Technician in a hospital under a Cardiologist/ Physician or in a reputed Nursing home having ECG service under a Cardiologist/Physician.
  • Overseer (Civil), T&S Grade C: Should have passed the matriculation or equivalent examination. Should Possess a recognized Diploma in Civil Engg. (3 Years course).

Selection Process

Selection will be made through Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Scrutiny/Verification of Documents and Medical Examination.

  • Computer Based Test (CBT):
    • HEMM Operator (Trainee) (all posts): Common paper – 100 Marks, 90 minutes duration.
    • Paramedical Staff & Overseer (Civil): Separate paper for each post – 100 Marks (Section-A: 70 Marks Technical + Section-B: 30 Marks GK/Reasoning/Aptitude), 90 minutes duration.
    • No penalty for wrong answers. No marks for un-attempted questions.
    • Bilingual (English & Hindi). In case of any ambiguity in Hindi, English version will be final.
    • Minimum Qualifying Marks: UR/EWS – 50 marks; SC/ST/ESM/OBC(NCL)/PwBD – 40 marks.
    • Tie-breaking rules prescribed for each category of posts (matric marks, DOB, Section-A marks, alphabetical order etc.).
    • Indicative syllabus given in Annexure-A, B & C of the notification.
  • Document Scrutiny / Verification: Only candidates who qualify CBT as per cut-off will be called for verification of original documents/certificates in order of merit.
  • Medical Examination: Selected candidates must be found medically fit as per CIL Medical Attendance Rules.
  • Final selection is provisional and subject to verification of all documents, character & antecedents, and medical fitness.
  • Result and provisional merit panels will be published on NCL website.
