NCPOR Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
- Vehicle Mechanic, Generator Mechanic/Operator, Station Electrician, Operator Excavating Machine, Welder, Boiler Operator & Mechanic/ Plumber/ Fitter, Carpenter: ITI Certification (Minimum one-year course) in a relevant trade with four years of relevant experience OR Diploma in Engineering in relevant field with three years working experience in relevant field. Minimum four years of experience for Ex-servicemen/ Ex-Para-military/ Ex-Police Forces personnel.
- Crane Operator: ITI Certification (Minimum one-year course) in relevant trade with four years relevant experience OR Diploma in Engineering in relevant field with three years working experience. Minimum five year's experience for Ex-servicemen/ Ex-Para-military/ Ex-Police Forces personnel.
- Voyage Support Assistant: ITI Certification (Minimum one-year course) in relevant trade with four years relevant experience OR Diploma in Engineering in relevant field with three years working experience.
- Male Nurse: Diploma in General Nursing with three year's experience in relevant field OR Bachelor of Science in Nursing with two years working experience in relevant field. Experience in operation theatre/ ICU will be given preference.
- Scientific Assistant: Diploma in engineering (Instrumentation/ Electronics/electrical/mechanical) with three years working experience in handling scientific equipment/ laboratory OR Bachelor degree in Physical Sciences/ Instrumentation with two years working experience in relevant field. Experience in handling scientific laboratory equipment as laboratory attendant or project assistant or technical/scientific assistant or equivalent will be given preference.
- Radio/Wireless Operator: Minimum 12th Standard passed and holding General Operator Certificate (GOC) with four years working experience in radio communication (HF/VHF) devices OR Diploma in Engineering (Electronics) with three years working experience in radio communication (HF/VHF) devices. Minimum four years' experience for Ex-servicemen/ Ex-Para-military/ Ex-Police Forces personnel. Ham (Amateur) Radio License or a Marine Radio Operator Permit will be given preference.
- Inventory & stores Assistant: Minimum 12th Standard passed and ITI Certification in computer operator and programming assistant (COPA) or equivalent trade with 4 years working experience in management of inventory and stores OR Diploma in computer application or equivalent with three years working experience in management of inventory and stores. Working knowledge of English. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in ERP software packages.
- Chef / Cook: Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology or Culinary Art from a recognized Indian University/Institute with three years of working experience in relevant field OR Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology or Culinary Art from a recognized Indian University/Institute with two years of working experience in relevant field. Working experience in a registered firm/airlines/hotel/food chain & Capable of handling 80 to 100 persons on a daily basis will be given preference.

- Contract wages of ₹ 60909.00/- (fixed) per month for the entire duration of contract for those who are going to Antarctica on NCPOR contract for the first time.
- Contract wages of ₹ 81212.00/- (fixed) per month for the entire duration of contract for those who already have been to Antarctica on NCPOR contract.
- Antarctic allowance of ₹1,500/- per day during the summer season and ₹2,000/- per day during the winter season.
