NESAC Eligibility Criteria 2026
Candidates often ask what minimum academic percentage is required for NESAC Recruitment 2026 - the notification specifies fixed minimum aggregate marks or CGPA for postgraduate and graduate degree holders across all posts.
- M.E./M.Tech degree holders need a minimum aggregate of 60% (average of all semesters) or a CGPA/CPI of 6.5 on a 10-point scale or equivalent grade, from a recognized university.

Junior Research Fellows and Project Associates-I are eligible only for casual leave, while Research Scientists are eligible for leave as per the institution's rules.
