Selection Process
NHSRCL will use a multi-stage selection process for all posts under Vacancy Notices 08/2026 to 20/2026. The Computer Based Test (CBT) for all posts from 08/2026 to 20/2026 may be conducted on the same day and at the same time, which is an important reason why candidates can apply for only one post.
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Interview
- Medical Examination
Management reserves the right to include or dispense with any of these selection stages as deemed fit. Submission of an application does not entitle a candidate to be called for any stage of the selection process. Depending on the volume of applications received, NHSRCL may raise or relax eligibility criteria or prescribe additional written tests. The management's decision regarding selection is final. Outstation candidates called for interview will be paid travelling allowance as per company rules.
How to Apply
Applications for NHSRCL Vacancy Notices 08/2026 to 20/2026 must be submitted online as per the "Guidelines to Apply" published on the official NHSRCL website. Incomplete applications or applications without supporting documents will be rejected without any correspondence. The following steps outline the application process.
- Visit the official NHSRCL website and refer to the "Guidelines to Apply" document for the complete online application procedure.
- Register and fill in the application form in the prescribed format only.
- Pay the application fee of Rs. 400/- if you belong to UR, EWS, or OBC category (SC/ST/Women are exempted). Note that transaction processing charges are additional and also non-refundable.
- Upload all supporting documents as required by the application portal. Applications without supporting documents will be summarily rejected.
- Submit only one application across all vacancy notices 08/2026 to 20/2026. Multiple submissions are not permitted.
- Note your registration number and monitor your registered email (including spam folder) and the official NHSRCL website regularly for updates.

Troubleshooting and Common Mistakes to Avoid
Online application portals for government recruitment can be error-prone, especially as deadlines approach. The following general precautions will help you avoid common technical and procedural mistakes.
- Apply well before the deadline: Server load increases significantly on the last day. Attempting to pay or submit on the final date risks timeouts, failed transactions, and missed deadlines.
- Verify payment before closing the window: If a payment gateway transaction fails or remains pending, wait a few minutes and check your bank statement before retrying. Duplicate payments are generally not refunded.
- Save your registration number immediately: Note down your registration number and application ID as soon as you register. Without it, recovering your application or accessing admit cards later becomes difficult.
- Check photo and document upload specifications: Government portals typically specify file size limits (e.g., 20100 KB for photos) and accepted formats (JPG/PDF). Uploading files outside these limits causes silent rejection of uploads.
- Use a compatible browser: If the portal does not load correctly, try a different browser or disable browser extensions. Avoid mobile browsers for the final submission step.
- Check spam/junk mail: NHSRCL explicitly advises candidates to monitor their spam folders. Shortlisting communications and CBT admit card links are sent to the registered email only.
- Do not count ineligible experience: Experience from teaching, faculty roles, apprenticeships, internships, proprietorship, partnership, or freelancing will not be counted. Ensure only qualifying service is reflected in your application.
- One application only: Submitting applications for more than one post under Vacancy Notices 08/2026 to 20/2026 is explicitly not permitted. Ensure you apply for the single most appropriate post before submitting.
