Important Instructions for NIOS October-November 2026 Exams
- Read the instructions printed in the official date sheet carefully before every paper.
- Check the date, time, and reporting requirement for each subject. Do not rely on a single general timetable.
- Some regional centres have separate dates for specific examinations. If you study through such a centre, confirm your schedule with the applicable official notice.
- If a general timetable and a regional-centre notice differ, follow the applicable official instruction.
- Keep the required documents ready before you leave for the examination centre.
- Use only official sources for dates and hall ticket updates. Unofficial or "expected" timetables may not match the final schedule.
How to Plan Your Preparation With the Date Sheet
The first paper is on October 22, so the time between now and then is short. A few practical steps can help:
- Write down the date and time of every paper you are enrolled in.
- Note any gaps between papers and use them for revision of the heavier subjects.
- If your subject is a vocational or certificate course, check its specific timing separately.
- Confirm your exam centre details as soon as the hall ticket is available.
