Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualification: Bachelor of Library & Information Science (BLISc) from a recognized Indian University/Institute and passed out after 1st January 2021.
Desirable Qualification: Computer proficiency will be given preference.
Salary/ Stipend
Consolidated stipend of Rs. 14,000/- per month with no additional perk.

Selection Process
Selection of the candidate will be based on their performance in the written test followed by personal interview.
General Information / Instructions
Selected apprentices will get the opportunity to work in various sections of NISER Central Library as well as on emerging tools and technologies in the Library and Information Science field. The NISER library normally remains open all days including holidays and beyond office hours. So the selected candidates have to work on shift as per the needs of the institute.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Written Test/Interview.
Experience/Training certificate will be issued only after the successful completion of the duration.
Campus residential accommodation in the hostels shall be provided (subject to availability) for the selected candidates during their apprentice period on a chargeable basis.
The institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for the interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of written test score, qualification, and relevance of experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement and other academic achievements. The institute also reserves the right of rejecting any or all the applications without assigning any reasons thereof.
Educational qualifications prescribed in this advertisement must have been obtained from a recognized Board/Council/University/Institute.
Candidates have to bring their original photo ID card (Aadhaar/ Voter ID/ Driving Licence etc.). The original & self-attested copies of certificates, mark sheets of all examinations passed from matriculation onwards, and a passport-size photograph.
