NISER Summer Internship Programme 2026
NISER Bhubaneswar offers a vibrant summer internship programme in which selected students work on state-of-the-art research projects under the guidance of faculty members in various disciplines.
Duration of the Programme
The summer programme will be conducted during 16 May 2026 to 15 July 2026. No extension for a longer stay will be considered.

Students must be currently registered/enrolled in UG/PG degree courses in the following disciplines:
- Biological Sciences – Biological Sciences / Biotech
- Chemical Sciences – Chemical Sciences / Chemical Engineering

How to Apply for NISER Bhubaneswar Summer Internship 2026
- Visit the official NISER Bhubaneswar website.
- Fill all required details.
- Upload scanned copies of: Passport-size photo, Bonafide-cum-No Objection Certificate (in prescribed format), previous semester grade sheet, and CV.
- Arrange two recommendation letters to be sent directly by referees to the respective school’s summer project email ID before 10 April 2026.

Selection Process
Selection is done by the respective Principal Investigator (PI) / Faculty. It is highly recommended to contact the faculty/PI and obtain consent before applying.
Stipend and Accommodation
Limited number of selected interns (not receiving any other fellowship) will get ₹5,000 per month + to-and-fro second-class sleeper train fare.
Hostel accommodation will be provided on a chargeable basis (₹30 per day), subject to availability.
