NMPB Recruitment 2026 - Eligibility Criteria
- Deputy Adviser (Medicinal Plants): Master's degree in Botany or Pharmacognosy or Agriculture or Agronomy or Forestry from a recognized University or Institute or equivalent with ten years post qualification experience of working in the areas of research, development, policy, programs and implementation relating to medicinal plants.
- Assistant Adviser (Botany): Master's degree in Botany/ Pharmacognosy from a recognized University or equivalent with five years' experience of working in the field of development of propagation of medicinal plants, particularly used in Ayurveda, Unani and Homoeopathy.
- Finance & Administrative Officer: Five years' experience in administration, establishment and accounts matters.
- Research Officer (Botany): Master's degree in Botany/Pharmacy (with Pharmacognosy as the main subject) of a recognized University or equivalent with two years' experience of identification of drugs and medicinal plants used in Indian Systems of medicine.
- Assistant Research Officer: Master's degree of Science in Botany or Pharmacognosy or Forestry or Agriculture or Horticulture or Medicinal Plants or Bio Technology or Pharmacy (with Pharmacognosy as a main subject) from a recognized University or institute or equivalent with knowledge of computer operation.
- Accountant: Senior Secretariat Assistant (SSA) of Central Secretariat Clerical Service (CSCS) in Level-4 with eight years’ regular service and nine weeks training in Cash and Account or equivalent with two years' experience in cash, accounts and budget work.
